Sleek Smart Ring Delivers on Health Tracking, Mostly

This post is part of my activities with AliExpress, and I may receive a commission for purchases made through links in this content.

I recently picked up the 2025 New Smart Ring Men Women, Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen Monitor Smartring IP68 & 5ATM Waterproof, Multi-sport Mode Rings Man because I wanted a discrete way to keep tabs on my fitness stats without strapping on a bulky watch every day. The sleek design really caught my eye, promising high functionality in a subtle package, which is exactly what I was looking for when I decided on this smart ring.

First impressions are great; this device certainly looks really nice, and setup was straightforward. I was particularly interested in the advertised Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen Monitor capabilities, and so far, they seem to be working reliably for daily checks. Being IP68 and 5ATM Waterproof is a huge plus—I haven't worried about showering or even doing a quick swim with it on.

It also features Multi-sport Mode Rings Man tracking, which I’ve started experimenting with during my walks. Other buyers seem to feel similarly about the aesthetics; one person mentioned it is beautiful, and I agree. In terms of data accuracy, I cross-referenced it with my Galaxy Watch, and the measurements came in around 85% accurate, which is acceptable for this form factor.

However, I must note that not every experience seems to be perfect; I saw a few comments indicating issues with receiving a working unit or sizing problems, which is something to be aware of.

One area that needs improvement with the 2025 Smart Ring is the charging situation. Unfortunately, I did notice a significant drawback mentioned by another user: the lack of an included charging cable, and one person even reported failing to charge it after just a week. Getting the right fit is also crucial, as one buyer noted they ordered the wrong size—so definitely measure twice before ordering this smart ring.

Despite these few hiccups I read about, the overall functionality for continuous heart rate tracking and its high waterproof rating make this a compelling gadget.

If you are someone who prioritizes a low-profile design over 100% clinical accuracy and you’re looking for decent daily metrics tracking along with great water resistance, this product is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared to check your sizing carefully and perhaps have a spare USB adapter handy, as this sleek piece of tech packs a lot of features into a minimal design. I'm generally very happy with my decision to buy this smart ring.
